In this blog, I’m going to show you 5 of my favorite abdominal exercises and why I like each and every single one of them. There is always a reason behind something so I will tell you all the reason behind these exercises which will show you that these are the best abs exercises. 1. Hanging Pikes

This is one of my favorite and one of the best exercises for abs. This is number one from the top 5 abs exercises. The reason I like the hanging pikes so much is that it is a great exercise for squeeze and contraction on the top of the excise. Also, it’s a great exercise for working that negative rep the negative rep is on the way down.
Negative rep gives you more tension when your legs go down. In this process muscle fibers gets ripped and more the muscle fibers get ripped, there are more chances for muscle hypertrophy.

2. Hanging Knee Ups

One of the top 5 abs exercises. The reason that I love Hanging knee ups is that it will help to get the good contraction on the abs. Most people don’t get the contraction because they don’t move their hips a bit forward and they don’t have muscle and mind connection which is very important.
If you don’t have muscle and mind connection then you can not feel that contraction on the abs. So make sure you connect your muscle with the mind.

3. Bench Jack Knives

The reason why this exercise is so effective is that each and every single rep you will really squeezing the hell out of your abs, the better you squeeze and contract, the more results you will get. Also, it’s a great exercise for both upper and the lower abdominal muscle.

There are very rare exercises which work on both upper and the lower abs. So this is one of them and the best exercise. And also it’s to do, you can do this on any flat bench or even at the decline bench.

4. Bicycle Knee Ups

It’s a great exercise for really applying stress and tension on the abs. Because the abs are not getting any rest at all they are constantly under tension, there is constant stress on the abs. So if there is no rest in between the exercise it will surely create tension on the abs and make them grow.

So this is one of the best abdominal exercises. Make sure you move your hips bit forward and hold them there and then start the exercise.

5. Partial Decline Sit-Ups

In this exercise, abs are under the constant tension. You have to use such a short range of motion and you should contract the muscle also and many of you are thinking why we should not use full range of motion, the reason is if you use full range of motion you abs will get rest when you lie down and there will be less stress on the muscle. So if there is no rest in between the exercise it will surely create tension on the abs and make them grow.
